Book Clubs

The Davenport Public Library offers a variety of book clubs for adults. Starting in January 2018, registration is not required! Books are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, and can be picked up at the hosting branch. Or find any copy and join us! Call (563) 326-7832 for more information, or stop by a service desk.

Join our adult book club with a teen book twist. See why so many teen books are being turned into movies and are taking over the best seller lists. Meets at the Eastern on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm beginning January 10th through June 13th.

Short & Sweets is a short story "book" club that meets every second Monday of the month at 10:00 am at Fairmount.

On a quest for the outlandish and bizarre?  Rayguns and wizards not required. Just take a look at the world we're living in right now in our new nonfiction book club. Meets the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm at Fairmount, beginning January 4th through June 7th.
